Healing Deep Hurt Within by Dr Peter Mack
When emotional trauma is repeated and overwhelming, the injury inflicted manifested physically as a problem of syncope and mentally as dissociative amnesia, auditory hallucinations and suicidal thoughts in a young lady. This book describes the moving story of this lady who was on the verge of despair. Stricken with hurt and sorrow from her failed relationships, she was determined to get well and move on in life. The story is an exciting account of how she went through her fast-moving journey as a patient with the author who, through regression therapy, helped her to recall and relive her sequence of trauma. A dramatic and transformational change took place after 18 days of therapy and astonished both the patient and the therapist alike. This story is written up at the request of the patient herself, upon her recovery. |

Life Changing Moments in Inner Healing by Dr Peter Mack
This is the author’s second book on regression therapy and it focuses on past life healing. The book contains the regression stories of four patients who unexpectedly experienced healing of a dramatic nature. To take the mystique out of the healing process, the book provides details of the regression technique and the therapeutic dialogue of each regression procedure. The first patient presented with unexplained visions of an unidentified lady, disturbing dreams and phobia of water. The second patient was faced with serious problems of procrastination and anger management since childhood. The third patient had problems of memory loss, and fear of success and of public speaking. The fourth patient was afflicted with a snake phobia. All four patients went through transformational healing after regression therapy. |

Inner Healing Journey – A Medical Perspective Edited by Dr. Peter Mack
This is a multi-author book on regression therapy written by six physicians from the fields of psychiatry, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and surgery. The book is based on the healing stories of eleven patients suffering from a variety of conditions, ranging from emotional symptoms arising out of relationship issues to medical illnesses that refractory asthma, fibromyalgia, systemic lupus erythematosus and infertility. The chapters show how some of these patient problems that had been unresponsive to traditional medical approaches were resolved using regression therapy techniques. In many of these cases, regression stories that appear to be past lives emerge, and these helped to provide healing insights to the patients to help them unleash their inner healing potential. |

Mirrors of the Mind – Metaphoric Narratives in Healing Authors. Dr Peter Mack, Dr Nicole Lee
This book is an
account of a healing and spiritual journey which a doctor herself took, so as
to find meaning in her life while under the guidance of another senior doctor.
At the age of 33, Nicole felt loss and painfully stuck in her life. She had
been trying to seek out the purpose behind her existence but to no avail. Out
of the blue something intriguing happened and her life started to turn around
and develop insights as to why things were happening the way they did. The
tools of meditation and regression therapy were used for healing. What makes
this book unique and intriguing is that while most medical professionals are
trained in healing physical wounds, the two doctor-authors in this book have
taken on the roles of the “patient” and the “therapist” in healing emotional
and spiritual wounds. Many life lessons were touched upon, and interspersed
throughout the text of the patient story are explanatory notes from the
perspective of the therapist.

| The Misted Mirror - Mindfulness for Schools and Universities by Dr Peter Mack
This book has been specially written for students of the teenage and adolescent group (13-20 yr), and for teachers, parents and counsellors who are guiding them. It is one of few books that provides not only an insight into mindfulness in terms of psychotherapy, but also takes the practice and philosophy of mindfulness into the realm of the learning environment and holistic education. It adopts a purely secular slant and is devoid of religious content. The application of mindfulness to classroom learning, managing stress and improving teaching approaches are clearly explained.
What is perhaps most amazing with this book is the series of meditative, guided imagery scripts and mindful art exercises included within. Teachers and parents who are helping their children will most likely find them invaluable. |
